How to Use Microsoft Office Within Google Drive

Have you recently made the move to (or you’re still considering) Google, but you’re reluctant to give up Microsoft Office? Google Drive actually integrates really well with Office, especially when you make use of the desktop version of Drive.

Installing the desktop version of Google Drive allows you to save Microsoft Office files directly to Drive, just like you would any other folder. Since your desktop version can automatically sync with the browser when you have an internet connection, these files are accessible from anywhere.

Google has also really improved their integration with Microsoft Office files, and it’s has become a lot easier to switch between the different file types. You can easily import a Office file into Google Drive, open it in the Google Doc format and make your changes!
