ProWritingAid is a Microsoft Word add-in that helps improve your writing in an easy and intuitive way. It gives you feedback on your grammar, sentence structure, word choice, and more.

• Head to https://prowritingaid.com/ and click on the “Download Pro Writing Aid Add-in” button to download the installer for the add-in. Follow the prompts to install the add-in for your system.

• Open up Microsoft Word. You’ll notice something new in your Word ribbon now: the ProWritingAid add-in.

• Once you open a file with text in it, you can click the add-in to run a report on your text and start getting suggestions on the quality of your writing. The first time you use the add-in, you’ll be given an option of what type of account to set up. You can choose whether you want to subscribe right away, or you can give the 14-day free trial a go.
• You can see a number of reports that will provide you with information about the quality of your writing. You can get feedback on grammar, sentence structure, word choice, and more.

• To view on any of the reports, just click to open them up and dive into the feedback on your specific text.
