When searching in Gmail, the results shown are only relevant emails. However, “Apps Search” is a Lab that searches beyond just your Gmail. It searches your Docs and Sites and the results appear right in your Gmail.

1. From Gmail, click on the gear icon and select ‘Settings’.
2. Go to the ‘Labs’ tab.
3. Find and enable ‘Apps Search’. Click on ‘Save Changes’.
4. Now when you search all relevant emails, Docs, and Sites will be found and appear in Gmail.
