Tic-Tac-Toe, Solitaire, & Animal Sounds: All Now in Google Search

General Google Apps Blue

Here’s another round of fun, light-hearted updates from Google. A few months ago, they rolled out tic-tac-toe and solitaire directly in search, meaning you can play either game just by doing a Google search. As a bonus, you can also hear various animal sounds right in search. So if you need a quick break from work, try it out.

Both games are available on the desktop and Google mobile apps.

Just search for “Tic-tac-toe” or “tic tac toe” in Google and you’ll see the game right in the search results. You can pick your difficulty level (Easy, Medium, or Impossible) or choose to play against a friend. Google will also keep track of your score.

Solitaire

Just type “solitaire,” and the game will pop up first in the search results. Choose “Click to Play,” and then you can choose your difficulty level (easy or hard) and start playing.

As a bonus, Google also rolled out animal sounds directly in search, because… why not? Just type in, “What sound does a cat make?” or “What sound does a tiger make?” and you’ll get to hear sound effects for various animals.
