At BetterCloud, our mission this year was to empower you to drive unprecedented efficiency and eliminate waste in your cloud environment. From streamlining license reclamation to making your workflows more dynamic, 2025 was the year we put you squarely in the driver’s seat.

What we shipped in 2025
In 2025, we enhanced how you manage your budget and people, building out the license reclamation powerhouse to capture serious SaaS savings and rolling out features like self-service upgrades and more than a dozen new User Automation integrations and 150+ actions to bring unparalleled control to your spend data and user workflows.
10+ new integrations
This year we launched over 10 new integrations for User Automation, enabling 150+ new automated actions.

This slew of actions is another step towards zero-touch user provisioning and deprovisioning. Top requested applications like Linear, OpenAI, PandaDoc, and FullStory all bring impactful actions to add and remove users, revoke access levels, update departmental data, manage user groups, and more.
License reclamation expansion

We kicked off the year with releasing Dropbox and DocuSign support, but we didn’t stop there – we quickly expanded to include dozens of your most-used applications.
Our major integration with Okta SCIM provisioning exploded the potential, enabling license removal across 60+ additional SCIM-enabled applications including Bitwarden, ClickUp, LastPass, Lucidchart, and Wrike—all without requiring individual app APIs.
The command center for spend data
Managing spend requires crystal-clear visibility. We introduced new features to consolidate data and centralize actionable tasks.
The spend optimization action inbox is a centralized hub that brings together Transaction Mapping, App Mapping, and Contract Renewals, so you can stop hunting and start acting.
Grouping related products like Atlassian, Adobe, and Salesforce became clearer with product suite support and inactive user alerts were added to make your analytics more actionable for license reclamation.
To improve your proactive renewal process, we’ve overhauled the Contract Concierge to support subscription uploads alongside contract uploads with new status updates, and we’ve added a Muting Product Usage Insights feature allowing users to remove misleading usage data for more accurate spend optimization.
Smarter workflows continue to make IT magic
Since BetterCloud’s automation is the module users like you love best, which is why we work so hard to adapt your automated processes to real-world scenarios.
We released the “Wait for Response” action in Slack, a highly requested feature, that lets you build dynamic, conditional workflows based on any type of user input within slack. This dynamic capability is exactly what enables BetterCloud automation to support zero-touch IT initiatives.
Another way we’ve adapted workflows to real-world scenarios? By addressing data discrepancies like multiple accounts for the same person. We implemented Merge Actions specifically to solve this problem, resulting in clean data and truly seamless user management.
User Automation got a new look
We gave the platform a serious refresh to improve your day-to-day work.
The new User Automation dashboard has been enhanced to be faster and more intuitive for real-time updates, better visibility into automation events, and customizable pins have been added for your favorite assets.
Self Service Agent upgrades
When we released the BetterCloud Self Service Agent, there was much excitement (and for good reason!).
We too shared this excitement as we were able to free IT teams from relentless password reset cycles, access requests, and many, many more employee requests clogging up a never-ending backlog.
This year we dove in and rolled out some awesome updates for the Self Service Agent that included enhanced, customized forms to thwart Slack’s limitations.

Fasten your seatbelts, because this year, we truly took flight with the launch of our brand-new, exclusive customer series, InFlight! We are thrilled by the overwhelmingly positive feedback and high participation that made this series a soaring success.
InFlight was designed to be a runway for deep technical insights and real-world best practices, diving into the nitty-gritty of how you can optimize your SaaS operations. Throughout 2025, we covered critical ground across security, offboarding, mid-lifecycle changes, cost control, and more.
We showed customers how to transform messy offboarding into reliable automation, achieve mid-lifecycle cruise control, and drive specific, targeted automation using advanced workflow wizardry with custom fields. And yes, we certainly had fun along the way, taking the flight puns to a whole new altitude, pilot costumes and all!
