How to Disable Request for RSVPs in Outlook Invites

Have you ever sent out an invite to a large group of people, and shortly after sending the invite, your inbox becomes flooded with RSVP emails? That’s because in your meeting invite, by default, the “Request Responses” option is marked.

To disable this request for an RSVP, watch the above video and follow the instructions below:

  1. In the new calendar invite, select the Response Options drop-down menu.
  2. To disable “Request Response” click “Request Responses” and the check mark next to it will disappear.
  3. To enable “Request Response” click “Request Responses” and make sure the check mark is marked next to the text.
