This is Part 2 in Cloud Sherpas’ Top 10 Tips for Email Administration in Google Apps

In Cloud Sherpas’ first video they discussed how to perform a MX Record Lookup on a Windows machine. The next step you should perform when you encounter failed email delivery is debugging the bounceback.

In this video they go over a common email bounceback and all of the corresponding error messages. For example, a user may experience an error message, simply because the email address was typed incorrectly.

Be sure to review the error message in its entirety! It’s like that the error may be caused by reasons outside you domain, but it’s important to make sure that your domain isn’t causing the error (just to be safe).
