Two years ago we launched FlashPanel in the Google Apps Marketplace and just eight months prior, we founded BetterCloud. Over the past two-and-a-half years, we’ve grown to a team of 75 and have built a customer base of more than 40,000 organizations spread across the globe. Today marks the 15th annual Sys Admin Day, 24 hours set aside to specifically celebrate and thank the tireless work IT professionals put in day in and day out to fulfill a host of end-user requests. From ensuring uptime and network security, to administering domains, onboarding new users and provisioning devices, IT pros work around the clock to ensure the rest of us can get our work done from 9 to 5.

IT admins not only face endless requests and often feel the brunt of a network outage that’s rarely their fault, but few of us take the time to thank these professionals who are usually hard at work behind a monitor or known to us only from their voice on the phone.
