SaaS Updates for January 11, 2017

Good news for people on the go: Insightly introduced improved filtering in its mobile app, so you can easily find key pieces of information. For example, you can find records that are assigned to or created by specific users, are using a specific tag, are in a specific state, and much much more.

The Salesforce1 mobile app is transitioning to WKWebView to provide an improved experience. In case you haven’t heard of WKWebview, it’s an updated way to display interactive content inside of mobile apps. This is expected to improve performance for iOS users, but if you’ve built workarounds to improve the old UIWebview, you might run into some issues. Salesforce published a few recommendations to ensure a smooth transition.
