What comes to mind when you think of IT conferences?

Vendor expos in a sprawling showroom, maybe. Dull panels and filler content. Awkward meet and greets.

But Altitude 2017, our upcoming conference (Oct. 24-25 in Austin, Texas), is completely different.

This isn’t our first rodeo. We’ve purposely crafted Altitude to be different than the norm.

It’s an exclusive conference for 150 of the brightest minds in IT, industry experts, and BetterCloud customers to discuss the changes and challenges they’re experiencing today (and expect to experience in the future).

Attendees having a great time at our last conference.

Here are five reasons why Altitude is unlike any other IT conference you’ve attended:

1. We purposely keep it small.

Giant conferences can feel overwhelming and impersonal, which is why we’ve capped attendance at 150 people. “BetterCloud’s events are a refreshing change of pacea more intimate, curated group of IT professionals who have a lot of informed opinions and lean on each other for collective wisdom,” says Justine Bienkowski, senior IT manager at BuzzFeed. “It’s always well worth the time, and the connections I’ve made through them have become quite important to me.”

2. No sponsors, partners, or re-sellers allowed.

“I love sitting through a sales pitch masquerading as an educational seminar,” said no one ever. Altitude is a safe spacenot a salesy spacewhich is why we’re not allowing any sponsors, partners, or re-sellers to attend. You’ll be able to have conversations that are open, honest, and meaningful.

3. You’ll meet smart, forward-thinking people who are working with the same technology as you, and facing the same challenges as you.

We are bringing together 150 IT professionals who are all managing SaaS environments, so you’ll be able to talk to like-minded peers who are in the same boat as you. It’s a rare opportunity to learn best practices and discuss actionable strategies and tactics with the people who get it the most. “This is one of the few events where I can take back learnings that will have a direct and real impact for my company,” says Dave Jackson, ‎Director of Infrastructure at ‎WeWork.

4. You will impact BetterCloud’s 2018 product roadmap.

Hear our vision for the future directly from the BetterCloud product team and let us know what you think. What features, integrations, and data types do you wish BetterCloud had or supported? Your feedback will directly shape our 2018 roadmap.

You’ll hear directly from our product team, as well as BetterCloud founder and CEO David Politis.

5. We’re throwing a great party at a secret location.

Join us for an amazing party at a top-secret place. We’ll have live band karaoke that promises to be epic (if you’ve ever joined us for a BetterCloud event, you know how obsessed we are with karaoke). Awesome food and drinks will be served, and we’ll have a few other delightful surprises too.
