A highly requested workflow feature is here: Slack Wait for Response. This enhancement lets you build more dynamic and adaptable workflows by branching based on Slack responses, and not just approvals.
Unlike the existing “Wait for Approval” step, this new functionality allows:
- Conditional logic for any type of user input
- In-app responses, keeping your users in Slack
- Better support for nuanced workflows like handoffs, updates, or contextual decisions
