Okta in BetterCloud
Okta is now available as a connector in BetterCloud! You can take full advantage of all BetterCloud’s functionality along with integration into Okta’s Identity Cloud.
Leverage Okta as an Identity Provider through SSO
The Okta connector integrates the Okta Universal Directory into BetterCloud, bringing in your Okta users and groups and extending the range of your visibility, alerting, automation, and policy enforcement. Okta is also supported as an Identity Provider (IdP) for BetterCloud, allowing you to use your Okta account to login to BetterCloud through single sign-on (SSO) and assign granular admin roles across your connectors.
User Lifecycle Management
The Okta integration provides new levels of automation in your environment, as changes in the Okta Universal Directory can trigger Workflows across all your connected applications, saving you valuable time and reducing your manual workload by fully automating routine processes like user onboarding and offboarding.
Security monitoring and automated policy remediation
User and admin activity in identity providers like Okta can have significant security implications for your organization. In another release coming soon, BetterCloud will retrieve data from Okta’s identity event feed, providing you with Activity-based Alerts to continuously monitor important user events like failed login attempts, multifactor authentication bypasses, and administrator elevation changes. With this immediate insight into your domain’s security, you will be able to remediate incidents not only through one-off bulk actions, but also through Workflows that automatically eliminate risks without manual administrator intervention.
