Last week, BetterCloud announced a major release that will make automated policy enforcement much easier for our customers. All was slow on the Office 365 front, although Google did release a few admin related improvements.

BetterCloud | Additional alerts related to email forwarding and Group settings for Google have been added to BetterCloud. These alerts can now be used as triggering events in Workflows. Additionally, Namely events and actions are now available in Workflows for the Namely connector.

Drive Compliance Policy Condition in BetterCloud for G Suite

BetterCloud | A new condition has been added to the Drive Compliance Audit/Policy Builder in BetterCloud for G Suite; “Last Updated Before” will scope your audit/policy results to include only those Drive items that have not been updated since the date set in your Builder. Backup and Sync from Google Available Soon

G Suite | Backup and Sync is primarily intended for consumer users. We recommend that our G Suite customers continue to use Drive for Mac/PC until our new enterprise-focused solution, Drive File Stream (currently in EAP), is made generally available to all G Suite Basic, Business, Enterprise, Education, and Nonprofit domains later this year.
