Google Sites as Doc Type, Report Cell Increase in BetterCloud for G Suite

Several enhancements have been released in BetterCloud for G Suite:

  • Google has announced the new Google Sites, and new site information created on this platform is now retrieved, along with Google Drive data, via Google’s Drive API. To fully support the new Sites, The Drive Audit grid in BetterCloud for G Suite now includes the following additional filters: “Doc Type > Site”.

  • Compliance policies in BetterCloud for G Suite now include the following criteria: “File Types > Site”.

A section of a Policy Creator form displays dropdown menus. The menu labeled "Who is this Policy for?" allows the user to select the target audience. Another section titled "Conditions" includes options for specifying "File Types" and "--Site". Each dropdown provides configurable settings, enabling precise policy creation based on user needs and conditions. The form is designed with a clean, structured layout facilitating easy navigation and selection of policies and conditions.

  • Existing sites can continue to be managed in the Sites Audit section; messaging has been added to this page to direct to Drive Audit for managing new sites.
