This past week, Google introduced new features for Docs, plus an integrated search experience in Gmail, Google Calendar, Groups, and Drive on the web. It also introduced email notifications for admin quarantine filters and made it possible to retrieve trashed files in the Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides apps for Android. Microsoft introduced two new data transformation and connectivity features for Excel 2016 and also published a roundup of the latest Office 365 updates announced at Microsoft Ignite. HipChat, Trello, Insightly, BambooHR rolled out new features as well.
