Acquisition seems to be the word du jour. This week, Okta announced its acquisition of zero trust security firm ScaleFT, Workday announced its acquisition of Stories.bi to expand its analytics capabilities, and Slack announced its acquisition of Missions (a tool that lets end users automate routine tasks in Slack). There are a few G Suite updates to know: The new Google sign-in screen is (finally) launching, and Google also announced that the migration to the new Google Forms UI starts August 22nd.

In other news: DocuSign rolls out document scanning for DocuSign Mobile, Atlassian introduces project archiving in Jira Service Desk, and Asana introduces the ability to draw dependencies between Tasks in Timeline.

Update: New Google Sign-in Screen Launching This Week
G Suite Updates | Last month, Google announced a new look for the Google sign-in screen. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen delays, they’re now rolling out the new design this week, with some minor changes. Going forward, you may notice that when you sign in to your G Suite account, the screen looks slightly different. Some of the changes include tweaks to the Google logo and center alignment of all items on the screen.

Migration to the New Google Forms UI Starting August 22nd
G Suite Updates | Google is ready to completely replace the legacy interface of Google Forms. As part of the replacement process, they will be upgrading forms that use the legacy interface to the new interface. These changes will update the look and feel of some forms, but the functionality of the forms and any data that has been collected from forms will not change.

Google+ Will No Longer Support Internet Explorer 10 in October 2018
G Suite Updates | Beginning on October 23, 2018, Internet Explorer 10 will no longer be a supported browser for use with Google+.
