There are a few upcoming changes to the Google Play Private Channel, a feature that allows G Suite admins to distribute private (custom) Android apps to their users via the Play Store app. This update means it’ll be easier for your users to access and discover private apps.
Google also rolled out an update that makes it easier for you to book a ride directly from Google Maps, on both Android and iOS globally. You’ll see more types of ride options and more actionable information. Plus, there’s a new integration that lets you book an Uber ride directly within Google Maps.
In other news, Microsoft announced the worldwide general availability of Microsoft StaffHub. It’s a new application for Office 365 designed to help staff workers manage their workday through schedule management, information sharing, and the ability to connect to other work-related apps and resources.
