SaaS Updates for May 24, 2016

Yesterday, Microsoft introduced ten new data transformation and connectivity features for Excel 2016. These updates are available as part of an Office 365 subscription. Dropbox for Windows 10 was recently updated with new features, including the ability to cast your videos directly from Dropbox to other devices.

May 2016 Updates for Get & Transform in Excel 2016 and the Power Query Add-In – Excel 2016 includes a powerful new set of features based on Power Query technology, which provides fast, easy data gathering and shaping capabilities and can be accessed through the Get & Transform section on the Data ribbon. Today, Windows is pleased to announce 10 new data transformation and connectivity features that have been requested by many customers.

Dropbox for Windows 10 Updated for Video Casting – Dropbox for Windows 10 has been updated with a handful of new features, including the ability to cast your videos directly from Dropbox to other devices and advanced comment notifications. Although there are still some features missing compared versus the iPhone and Android applications, these new additions make Dropbox a little more business-savvy for Windows users.
