Top 19 Applications in the Google Apps Marketplace

One month ago, we announced the launch of App Awareness Month – an entire month dedicated to promoting Google Apps Marketplace applications, or as we like to call them, Google Apps extensions, and educating admins and end-users on the best and brightest third-party products on the market.

Over the last thirty days, we’ve highlighted 19 applications, each adding an invaluable and unique functionality to Google Apps’ suite of native features, from enhancing project management capabilities, to providing added security, simplifying bookkeeping and much much more.

We promised our readers that by the end of April, they will have discovered some great new applications and gained a better understanding of the Google Apps ecosystem. And over that time, we also made some interesting discoveries. In a recent survey by the Cloud Alliance for Google Apps, it was revealed that nearly 25% of survey respondents hope to see deeper integrations between Marketplace applications in the future. We’re proud to say that each and every application chosen as part of App Awareness Month included a deep integration with Google Apps beyond single-sign on, something clearly important to users and vital to building a useful third-party app.
