If you use Trello and need simple presentations pulled together in an instant, we have some good news: Trello and Google Slides have a new API integration. You can now turn any existing Trello board or set of cards into a Slides presentation–all with just one click.

What is Trello? It’s a project management tool that helps teams collaborate and organize project information in a highly visual way using boards, lists, and cards.

First, you need to enable this Google Drive integration, which in the world of Trello, is known as a Power-Up.

  • In Trello, go to Show Menu > Power-Ups. Next to Google Drive, click Enable.
  • Once that’s done, you’ll see a Google Drive button at the top of your screen. This is what is going to allow you to turn your Trello board into a presentation.
  • Click Google Drive > Create Slides Presentation, and once the board has been turned into a presentation, you will see a link to open it. It’s that easy!

Once your presentation is created, you’ll notice that there is a title slide, which is pulled from the name of your board. You’ll also notice that the slides are ordered in the same order that you have them organized in Trello.
