Today’s Microsoft WPC keynote included a talk from Gavriella Schuster, the General Manager of the Worldwide Partner Group. She emphasized the great success of the Microsoft partner ecosystem (if you’re reading this and you’re not part of a partner organization, it’s almost guaranteed you’ve engaged with one before!) and laid out some key points for partners to grow.

We wanted to highlight the most important takeaways from this vision keynote, and offer resources to continue exploring:

  • Exams and certifications are evolving to meet our cloud-first needs: certification will now include intermediate skills badging, and exams will offer more online options.
  • Microsoft is offering more marketing support through programs like Digital Stride, which offers search engine optimization, and Bing search credits to expand search engine marketing.
  • Sourcing and recruiting options are available to grow your company’s talent, and communities like International Association of Microsoft Channel Partners (IAMCP), Women in Technology (WIT), the SMB PALs, and ISV networking community continue to help partners work together.

For more detailed information, check out Schuster’s blog post, Vision Keynote recap: We’re committed to our partners’ success.
