How To Suspend Users in Bulk in Google Apps

< 1 minute read

Removing users from domain can be just as tedious as adding new ones. Given the permanence of deletion, you also have to be even more careful with your actions. In our opinion suspending your users before a full deletion is always the right move. But what if you need to remove multiple users at the same time? Do you really have to suspend each user one by one?

While the standard Admin console does not allow for bulk suspension, there is a third-party integration that does. The video above will show you how to simply export your users to a spreadsheet, mark those whom you would like to suspend, re-import the spreadsheet, and voila! You’re done.

If you want to make the process even easier, you can use a new powerful feature called Workflows to automate the entire user suspension process. The account suspension can be triggered based on customizable criteria you set in the BetterCloud Workflow builder. Learn more about it here!
