How to Set Up Your Email Account in Outlook 2013 and 2016

Once you’ve downloaded and installed your Office 2013/2016 apps, you will need to set up your email account in Outlook 2013/2016.

If you know your email address and password (provided to you by your organization’s IT admin, or your internet service provider), it’s easy to automatically set up your Outlook account.

Note that this video shows how to configure an email account after opening Outlook for the first time. If you’ve just installed Office 2013/2016 and you’re now opening up Outlook for the first time, you may see a welcome message from Microsoft. Click through to the “Add Account” screen that you see in the video above and follow along from there.
