With the recent updates to Google+, it’s as good a time as ever to review how to start a Hangout on Air.

Hangouts on Air are one of the best ways to share and record live discussions, Q&A sessions and product announcements. We’ve also found Hangouts on Air to be a great way to communicate with customers, now matter where they are in the world.

To broadcast a Hangout on Air:

1.) Go to plus.google.com/hangouts

2.) Click the ‘Start a Hangout On Air’ icon

3.) Name your broadcast and invite the people (or circles) you want to join

4.) Click the ‘Start Hangout On Air’ icon

5.) Once your guests have joined and you’re ready to present, click the red ‘Start broadcast’ icon at the top of the screen
