How to Replicate/Concatenate Data Across Cells in Excel

Need to copy the contents of a cell across multiple cells with a single click? Want your cells in a row or column to count up incrementally by 1? It’s easy to perform both of these actions with a couple simple techniques.

To copy the contents of one cell to multiple cells:

Copy the data to your clipboard by pressing Ctrl + C or right-clicking. Then select the cells to which you want to copy the content and press Ctrl + V or right-click to paste.

To increment cells by using the AutoFill feature:

Select the cell where you want to start incrementing. Then, hover your mouse over the lower right corner of the cell until you see the cursor turn into a cross. Click and drag to the last desired cell and release. Then select Fill Series from the paste menu.
