How to Delete Office 365 Groups Without Members

If your Office 365 tenant includes security groups without members, it can create confusion about which groups are relevant, which groups to use for which purpose, and so on. You can check on your empty groups and clean up the clutter easily with BetterCloud. Take a look at the video above, or follow the instructions below:

  1. From the Domain Health and Insight Center or All Alerts, view your alert for security groups that do not have members.
  2. Select the security group(s) you wish to delete, or select all by clicking the checkbox at the top of the list.
  3. Click the Delete Group button.
