Unless you’ve been living under a social media rock, you know how popular filtered images are these days. There are many ways to give your images a modern, filtered look and jazz up your presentations. We’ll show you a few ways to apply filters to your images in Google Slides.

Method One:

In Google Slides, insert an image you’d like to work with by going to Insert > Image. Then click on Image Options, and in the Recolor dropdown menu, select any pre-built filter for your image. You can also adjust the transparency, brightness, and contrast sliders manually.

Method Two:

In Google Drive, find the image you’d like to work with. Right click it and click on Open With > Pixlr Express. With this third-party photo editor, you can choose from dozens of pre-set, advanced filters. Once you’ve applied a filter, click Save As Copy. Go back to Slides, right click the image, and choose Replace image. Select the file you saved from Pixlr Express.
