Emails can be dense and full of information. To keep your reader’s attention, there are many strategies you can take.
When you want to call attention to a specific part of your email, especially if it’s an excerpt or important quote, one strategy is to make that text a block quote.
By MLA standards, the block quote is used to when you have a quote of four lines or more, however you can use the Quote button in the Gmail compose window for many purposes. Check out the video above to learn more.
