< 1 minute read

Most people are aware that you can organize your Google Contacts into groups for sending a single message to more than one person. But did you know you can actually create a group from inside an email?

If you’re composing or replying to an email, many people don’t notice that the ‘To:’ and ‘CC:’ fields are actually clickable hyperlinks. When these are opened you can select contacts to add to a message, or you can even create a new group!

Beyond the ability to easily create a group inside of Gmail, this feature has another great use case. If you’ve recently migrated your old emails to Google Apps, you may have some trouble maintaing your old mailing groups.
