Here’s what happened this past week in the world of SaaS. Google rolled out a handful of G Suite updates, including custom templates in Docs, Sheets, and Forms, and the ability to download Google Slides presentations in the ODP file format (good news for organizations that use open-source office suites like LibreOffice and OpenOffice). Microsoft also made a few announcements, including a new file experience for groups in Outlook on the web, a new Office 365 service called Outlook Customer Manager, and a limited-time offer of migration services from on-premises SharePoint 2013 to Office 365.
