This past week, Google announced a ton of new updates at the Google Cloud Next ’17 conference. In fact, they made a whopping 100 announcements (<–here’s a fantastic roundup of all 100 of them).

In other Google news, they’ve rolled out support for Exchange tasks in the Gmail app for Android. It synchronizes your tasks with Exchange, so you can stay organized even when you’re on the go. Google also announced a new strategic partnership with SAP. This partnership “includes certification of the in-memory database SAP HANA on Google Cloud Platform (GCP), new G Suite integrations, Google’s machine learning capabilities, and data governance collaboration.”

And watch out, world: This Tuesday, Microsoft will make its Slack competitor, Microsoft Teams, generally and globally available. To mark the occasion, there will be an online event on March 14 at 8:30 am PT/11:30 am ET, where the team will share what’s new in Teams. In other Microsoft news, FastTrack announced several new resources to help Office 365 adoption: a new webinar with Microsoft CIO Jim DuBois, expanded Productivity Library scenarios, and the Office 365 Adoption Guide. Microsoft also announced support for a new data type in Access 2016—Large Number (BigInt). It also rolled out six new training courses covering the basics of Office 365. These short videos cover basic topics like how to sign in to Office, rename files, add comments, or insert hyperlinks.

In other SaaS news, Asana introduced new filtering capabilities in Boards. You can filter tasks in three different ways: incomplete tasks, completed tasks, and all tasks. Additionally, you can now quickly show or hide the project description. Box announced Box Zones in the UK, the latest Zone where customers can choose to store their data in-region with Box. Box also announced that they will be collaborating with Google on their newly introduced Hangouts Chat. DocuSign is rolling out lots of new updates. The DocuSign Spring ’17 release includes deeper integrations with Google Docs, the availability of the eNotary feature in eight US states, the personal eHanko signing option in Japan, and the availability of DocuSign Payments.
