Rejoice! All (yes all) file types can be made available offline in Google Drive now. Plus, we can all use our favorite GIFs (or JIF?) more easily in Google Chat. Read about these updates and more in the links.

Find and Share GIFs in Google Chat
Google Workspace Updates | Google is introducing a new integration with Tenor, which will allow users to quickly search for and send GIFs in Google Chat on web. Additionally, Google is introducing a new setting for Admins to control the use of this GIF integration within their organization.

Better Understand How You’re Spending Your Time in Google Calendar
Google Workspace Updates | You can now use Time Insights in Calendar, a personalized, analytical experience on the web, to see how your time is spent across meetings and collaborators. This information is visible to you so you can assess how you’re spending your time against your own priorities.

View Embedded Office Files in Your Documents
Google Workspace Updates | You can now view embedded Microsoft Office files in your documents when you’re working with Office files in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides. This feature allows you to view the files in preview mode, copy an embedded file directly to Drive, or download it.

Easily Make All Files Types Available Offline in Google Drive
Google Workspace Updates | Google is making this functionality generally available. When you mark these files available offline, you can easily open these files from your browser even when you aren’t connected to the internet.

New Beta Makes It Easier for Admins To Move Folders to Shared Drives
Google Workspace Updates | Google is launching a new beta that makes it easier for admins and delegated admins to move folders from My Drive to shared drives. This beta will add several usability enhancements.
