Well, Slack shared some big news last week! It raised a whopping $427M in a new funding round, pushing its valuation over $7.1B. In G Suite news, Google is adding the ability to directly add users and Google Groups as members of Google+ Communities. The Docs Activity dashboard is now available to all G Suite users, and Google is adding a quick-access side panel to the Docs editors and Google Calendar. In other news, ServiceNow announced a new integration with Box.

Slack Raises Series H Round of Financing From New Investors
Several People Are Typing | Slack is happy to share that they will add an additional $427 million of investment at a post-money valuation of more than $7.1 billion. This Series H equity round is in addition to the $841 million previously raised.

Add Users and Google Groups to Domain-Restricted Google+ Communities
G Suite Updates | Google is adding the ability to directly add users and Google Groups as members of Google+ Communities. When a moderator adds a group, group members are automatically added to the community. Subsequent updates to the group membership are automatically reflected in the community membership.

Docs Activity Dashboard Now Available to All G Suite Users
G Suite Updates | Google is making the Activity dashboard feature available to all G Suite users. Previously this feature was not fully available to G Suite Basic customers.

Use Quick-Access Side Panel to Do More from Google Docs, Sheets, Slides, Calendar, and More
G Suite Updates | Google is adding a quick-access side panel to the Docs editors and Google Calendar to help you quickly access other G Suite products without leaving what you’re working on. A similar side panel has been a popular feature of the new Gmail, and they hope that this integration will help you work more efficiently within and across G Suite.
