< 1 minute read

Hello, SaaS Updates readers. Happy New Year! Let’s dive into the updates.
A new year, a new Office 365 homepage experience. Microsoft rolled out its first major update to the new Office.com. These new updates include additional controls within the “Recent documents” list to let users filter by document type across Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OneNote, and more. These changes started rolling out in December and will continue through early 2017.
Google published a “What’s New in G Suite” newsletter, which contains a roundup of all G Suite launches from December 2016.
In other news, Dropbox announced that it’ll be teaming up with Intel this year to bring built-in Universal 2nd Factor (U2F) support to Dropbox users on 7th Generation Core processors. This new integration makes account protection more convenient and less complex. Users signing in to the Dropbox website will be able to take advantage of security keys built into newer Intel Core processors.
