Google released new updates pertaining to Android notifications and Hangouts metrics. The Office 365 team introduced the Outlook Interesting calendar as well as enhanced information rights management in several O365 mobile apps. Box introduced annotations, a new collaborative experience for users.
Notifying Android users natively when devices are added to their account to keep them secure – Google is pleased to release a new feature that notifies Android users of security events on their account: Android notifications for newly added devices.
New metrics on Hangouts and changes to Google+ activity metrics – Google is pleased to announce that they are adding new Hangouts metrics to the Reports API (part of the Admin SDK). These new metrics can be used to track video calls by platform. The new metrics that are being added are listed here.

Follow the Summer Games in Rio with the new Outlook Interesting calendar feature – The Outlook team is introducing Outlook Interesting calendar—special calendar additions that help you track your favorite events. You will be able to add the 2016 Summer Games in Rio—as well as other popular sports—to your calendar.
Enhancing information rights management in Word, Excel and PowerPoint mobile apps – Information rights management (IRM) is now supported everywhere in Office Mobile as the Office 365 team is are pleased to announce that they are extending Azure Rights Management to the Word, Excel and PowerPoint mobile apps for Android. You are now able to open, read and review rights-protected emails and Office documents on any device—whether it runs Windows, Mac, iOS or Android.
Announcing monthly educator “#OneNoteQ TweetMeets” in partnership with OneNote Central – Today, the OneNote Education team (@OneNoteEDU) and their partners are pleased to announce monthly “#OneNoteQ TweetMeets” for educators. Introducing Annotations: New Collaborative Experiences for Your Apps – The Box team is excited to announce a new feature that will allow developers to build more engaging and interactive content experiences with annotations. Available in beta, annotations allow your users to mark up a file preview in your application. Users can add annotations including point comments and highlight text directly on an embedded file preview, without having to leave your app or print out documents in order to mark up or highlight them.
