July Release Notes: BetterCloud for Office 365 Adds Account Settings and Email Customizations, Mailbox Forwarding Alerts

We just released another set of new features and updates to BetterCloud for Office 365, our newest product that’s currently in beta (try it free here). Here’s a summary of what’s new in this release:
- New account settings and tenant settings pages
- Customizations added to email settings
- Mailbox forwarding alert
- Users with changing administrator roles alert
What’s New: Alerts
Users with new administrator roles in Exchange – Since users can be assigned multiple roles in the Exchange admin center, this new alert will notify administrators about any changes to a user’s permissions within Exchange.
Mailboxes forwarding to other internal users – Receive an alert when a user creates a new email forwarding rule. Though email forwarding among internal accounts presents less of a data security risk than forwarding to external mailboxes (an existing alert), having insight into both provides a more complete picture of mail flow in Exchange.
What’s New: Features
All active alerts – A brand new page and the first in the Insights tab of the application. You can now view all active alerts for your tenant, filtering them by category, severity, or number.
Account settings – Starting with timezone customization to display timestamps throughout the application in your local time, additional options will be added to the account settings page in coming releases.
Tenant settings – Customize email preferences for notifications that aren’t associated with an alert, such as sync or service health notification emails.
