This week, Dropbox announced a security-focused collaboration with Google Cloud Identity and expanded partnerships with BetterCloud (that’s us!), Coronet, Proofpoint, and SailPoint to strengthen the security ecosystem. Google rolled out some new enhancements for Slides and Vault, Microsoft rolled out new AI features in Word, and Okta expanded its partnership with VMware.

Read on for more details.

Copy Formatting to Multiple Objects in Google Slides

G Suite Updates | Google is making it easier to copy formatting from one object (like a block of text or a shape) to multiple others in Google Slides.

Put the Flow Back in Workflow With Dropbox Extensions
Dropbox Blog | Dropbox is introducing Dropbox Extensions, a series of new integrations that let users start workflows — from signing contracts to annotating videos — from within the platform.

Furthering Okta’s Partnership with VMware
Okta Blog | Earlier this year at Oktane18, Okta and VMware joined forces to launch a strategic partnership that will help more organizations leverage the cloud and existing technology investments while simplifying IT management. Today, they’re taking that partnership another step forward with the availability of two new promotional offers through channel partners.

Collaborate with Others and Keep Track of To-dos With New AI Features in Word
Microsoft 365 | Microsoft is starting to roll out new capabilities to Word that help users create and fill in placeholders without leaving the flow of their work. For example, type TODO: finish this section and Word recognizes and tracks it as a to-do.

Improving Search in Google Vault With Custodian Counts and Saved Queries
G Suite Updates | Before you perform a search of Gmail messages in Google Vault, you can see the number of results that your search criteria will return — helping you plan next steps and establish resources for review. Going forward, in addition to the total number of results, you’ll also see the number of accounts with matches.

Automatic Camera Uploads Now Available for Dropbox Business Teams
Dropbox Blog | Dropbox is making automatic camera uploads available to teams on Dropbox Business.

Dropbox Strengthens Security Ecosystem With Google Cloud Identity and Expanded Partnerships
Dropbox Blog | To help administrators even more, Dropbox is partnering with Google Cloud Identity, BetterCloud, Coronet, Proofpoint, and SailPoint, all of which have built integrations to support Dropbox Business. The management and visibility tools provided by each of these partners complement native Dropbox Business security features already designed to serve the smallest business to the largest Fortune 500 company.
