There was no shortage of SaaS updates this week. Here at BetterCloud, we had our single largest actions release, with nearly two dozen new or enhanced actions now available! Google rolled out several new updates, including the ability to control session length for Google services on the web, and the addition of 23 third-party apps to the G Suite pre-integrated SAML apps catalog. Smartsheet updated its interface, Asana released a Timeline feature, Box announced an integration with iWork, and Box Drive is now generally available to everyone. Read on for more details.

New Actions in BetterCloud
BetterCloud Release Notes | We’re thrilled to announce our single largest actions release, with nearly two dozen new or enhanced actions now available! The new actions range from enabling you to set stronger file policies—for example by adding a Drive file to a Team Drive or unsharing all users from a Dropbox file—to important provisioning and deprovisioning actions, such as adding members to Box and Dropbox groups or transferring a Google user’s primary calendar events.

All G Suite Customers Can Now Manage Security Keys for Two-Step Verification
G Suite Updates | Previously, Google made it possible for admins in G Suite Enterprise domains to allow only security keys as their users’ two-step verification factor. In addition, Google gave them (and G Suite Business admins) tools to manage the deployment of security keys and to view usage reports. Because Google believes security keys can be pivotal in the effort to protect any organization, they’re now bringing these management capabilities to all G Suite editions.

Control Session Length for Google Services on the Web
G Suite Updates | Google is giving G Suite Business, Enterprise, and Education admins the ability to specify the duration of web sessions for Google services (e.g. four hours, seven days, or infinite). Unless a user logs out on their own beforehand, they’ll be automatically signed out at the end of that duration and prompted to re-enter their login credentials.

Subscribe to Highlights Notifications for Google+ Communities and Collections
G Suite Updates | To help you stay on top of these connections, Google is adding more options for how often you’re notified about new posts in the Google+ communities and collections to which you subscribe. Instead of getting all or no notifications, you can now opt to get “highlights” only.

Jamboard Files Now Appear in Google Drive
G Suite Updates | To make the Jamboard experience even more integrated with G Suite, the jam files you own will now appear in your Drive folder. This means you can easily open, copy, and share jam files from My Drive and Team Drives, and save jam files from Jamboard to My Drive.

Box and iWork: Real-Time Collaboration on Pages, Numbers, and Keynotes
Box Blog | Box is excited to announce another integration with Apple: Box now integrates with iWork, enabling users to create, preview and collaborate on Pages, Numbers, and Keynote files from within Box. Now, users can collaborate in real-time on iWork files from Box or directly in iWork apps, with all changes saved securely back to Box.

A Sneak Peek at the New Smartsheet Design
Smartsheet Blog | Smartsheet is updating their interface to make the product more intuitive — so you can easily access the tools you need to get even more done, faster. The updated navigation and layout will make it easier for you to find and use the most powerful features available in Smartsheet, and speed up the learning process for new users so onboarding team members is even easier.

Freshservice Integrates with TeamViewer
Freshservice Blog | Freshservice announced a TeamViewer integration to ensure customers can take advantage of the easy-to-use remote support platform to seamlessly troubleshoot issues and increase your service desk efficiency.

Introducing Timeline: See How Your Project Plan Fits Together

Desktop, Meet Cloud – Box Drive is Now Available!
Box Blog | Last year, Box built an all-new evolution of Box for the desktop – Box Drive – connecting your desktop and cloud content in one secure, seamless experience. Now, they’re excited to announce that Box Drive is now generally available to everyone!
