It was a big week for Google! They introduced 20+ updates to deepen and expand Google Cloud customers’ control over their security. This includes advanced protections against phishing and malware attempts in G Suite, as well as basic mobile management that’s on by default.

In other SaaS news, Slack and Workday announced an integration that lets you get the HR information you need, when you need it. Also: Trello rolled out Custom Fields, and Asana rolled out new updates for their web app.

Google Cloud Next ’18—Registration Now Open!

Warning Message Shown to iOS Users Who Don’t Have Hangouts Meet Enabled
G Suite Updates | Users with iOS devices whose accounts aren’t Meet-enabled are still able to join meetings that they’re invited to, but aren’t able to create them. To ensure that these users understand why they are missing that functionality, Google will start showing them a warning message the first time they open the Meet app on their iOS device.
