Last week’s G Suite updates include the ability to delete your direct message history in Hangouts Chat, a new look for Google Drive, and the beginning of the migration of video conferencing for your recurring Calendar events from classic Hangouts to Meet. Delete Your Conversation History in Hangout Chat
G Suite Updates | You’ll now be able to delete your conversation history of 1:1 direct messages in Hangouts Chat. These deletions apply to 1:1 conversations between classic Hangouts and Hangouts Chat in both directions. Please note, you’re only deleting your copy of the conversation history. Other users will still be able to see the chat.

Recurring Calendar Meetings Will Migrate to Hangouts Meet Video Calling
G Suite Updates | As part of the migration from classic Hangouts to Hangouts Meet that Google announced last year, Google will now begin migrating the video conferencing for your recurring Calendar events from classic Hangouts to Meet.

Five New Third-Party Applications Added to G Suite Pre-Integrated SAML Apps Catalog
G Suite Updates | Google is adding SAML integration for five additional applications.

Simultaneously Present and Be Seen With Hangouts Meet
G Suite Updates | Now, when you present your screen in a Hangouts Meet meeting, your camera’s video feed will remain visible. This allows other meeting participants to continue to see you while you present.

Google Drive Is Getting a New Look on iOS and Android
G Suite Updates | Google Drive is getting a new look and feel on iOS and Android, making it easier to communicate and collaborate across files in Drive on mobile devices.
