Last week’s SaaS updates included a new security feature from G Suite, as well as a new analytics solution from Office 365.

Manage access to third-party apps with new G Suite security controls

G Suite | Google is adding another security feature that improves data access control and enhances phishing prevention—OAuth apps whitelisting, giving your organization added visibility and control into how third-party applications are using your data. (Psst: BetterCloud also lets you manage access to third-party apps, as well as centralize, orchestrate, and operationalize day-to-day administration and control across SaaS applications.)

Hangouts Meet troubleshooting data to include mobile devices

G Suite | Hangouts Meet allows G Suite administrators to determine whether web video call logs should be uploaded to Google to aid with support troubleshooting. Starting on July 17th, 2017, the Hangouts Meet client logs upload setting in the Admin console will also apply to mobile devices.
