Last week, Google and Microsoft added several new shortcuts that will (hopefully) improve the user experience. Some of the more notable launches included shortcuts to reduce unorganized files in Google Drive, new APIs for connected sheets, and a Windows 10 insider preview build. Learn more about these new features and more in the links below.

Announcing Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 20197
Microsoft | The Your Phone apps feature which was highlighted during Aug 5th Samsung Unpacked event is now gradually rolling out to General Public. As a reminder, the Your Phone apps feature allows you to instantly access your Android phone’s mobile apps directly from your Windows 10 PC.

Profile Photo Updates: Unified User Photos and New Admin Controls
G Suite Updates | Starting today, users who still have two different profile photos will be migrated to a single profile photo. No action is needed by users, the current Google Account photo will become their only profile photo.

Automate and Expand Connected Sheets Updates With New APIs, Connections, and Capabilities
G Suite Updates | Google recently launched Connected Sheets, which connects Google Sheets and BigQuery to help you analyze large datasets using familiar spreadsheet tools. It’s now adding support for macros and APIs to help you automate tasks, as well as providing mobile access.

Expanding Shortcuts in Google Drive, Reducing Unorganized Files
Slack | Shortcuts simplified file and folder structures in Drive by creating pointers to items, rather than having items which existed in multiple locations. Now, Google is sharing three updates to its plans for shortcuts and file locations.
