Adding an image to an email signature in Outlook 2013/2016 is as easy as clicking an icon and navigating to a saved image file. But what if you use Outlook Online (AKA the Outlook Web App)?

As we know, signatures added in Outlook 2013/2016 do not show up in the Outlook Web App; you have to create two signatures in both places.

While the method is not as straightforward as it is in Outlook 2013/2016, it is possible to add an image to an email signature in the Outlook Web App. Follow these simple steps (also described in the video above):

  1. Your image will have to be stored/posted on the web, not your local computer. From wherever you’ve stored your image, copy it to your clipboard by selecting the image and pressing Ctrl + C, or right-clicking and selecting Copy from the menu.
  2. Back in your Email signature window, paste the image by pressing Ctrl + V, or right-clicking and selecting Paste from the menu.
  3. Resize the image and enter text depending on your preference.
